Prices & charges

The prices listed in the BvdZ online shop include country specific VAT and exclude shipping fees. The shipping fees will be added to the order at the check out and will be based on the country your order is shipped to. Please find more information about our delivery charges for each country under Delivery and Shipping. All prices are shown in € for all countries.

Right of return/cancellation

You have the right to cancel your purchases without giving any reason within a period of 14 calendar days after the day of delivery of the goods. During this period the consumer will treat the product and its packaging with care. During this period of 14 calendar days you have the right to cancel, which means that you are allowed to change your mind and send back the goods you have received – as far as this is reasonably possible – in the original state and packaging and have all of their tags on, without any obligations from your side, apart from the shipping fees to our warehouse in the Netherlands. If you want to do this, you must send back the goods undamaged and unused.

Unfortunately, items bought online cannot be refunded or exchanged in any of our stores. For payments funded with a bank account or PayPal balance, the refund is credited to the PayPal account and will show on your Paypal statement after 3 working days. Payments funded by a credit or debit card will be refunded to that card, and for payments funded with both a card and another funding source, the card portion will be refunded to the card and the remainder to the PayPal account.

We will refund your purchase in € (Euro), and we always use the most up-to-date exchange rate. Please note that depending on your bank’s currency conversion rate, a difference from the original charged sum may occur when your bank refunds your account.

If any item you return, that is not a faulty goods, doesn’t pass our quality check because it is not in a condition suitable for resale (for example, if it is used, washed, soiled or damaged), it will not be refunded and we will send it back to your delivery address at your expense.

Delivery & shipping

We will take the greatest of care to be as accurate as possible when receiving and dispatching your orders. We will dispatch the orders that the company has approved as quickly as possible and in the order that they have come in. Delivery normally takes place 3-5 working days after your order has been placed. Delivery times depend on where you want your order to be delivered, though the latest within 30 days, unless a longer period of delivery has been agreed.

Please note that we do not only sell items that we have in stock. The Items in stock we aim to dispatch all within 24 working day hours (Monday – Friday) with the exception of sale periods where this may take up to 48 working day hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. BvdZ is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. Items that are not in stock are back ordered and will be dispatched within 3 weeks (15 working days).

If a delivery suffers a delay or if the delivery cannot be dispatched or only partially due to the goods not being in stock or other reasons, the consumer will be informed about this at the latest one month after the order was placed. In this case, the consumer has a right to dissolve the contract, free of charge. In the case of dissolution in accordance with this paragraph, BvdZ will refund the consumer with the sum paid as quickly as possible, though at the latest within 30 days after that dissolution.

The place of delivery is deemed to be the address that the consumer makes known to BvdZ.

If packages are not collected, BvdZ reserves the right to charge €17 for the costs we have incurred from dispatching the package. Packages that have not been collected are not normally covered by the right of cancellation.

Please note that we only ship to home or office addresses and not to P.O. boxes.

We ship to the following countries, shipping fees specified:
Netherlands and Belgium (free)
Europe (10 €)

Payment

Payment towards online store purchases can be made with a valid card by a provider accepted by BvdZ.com or with a PayPal account. We do not accept orders via email. We only accept cards with billing addresses in one of the countries that BvdZ.com ships to. Please note that we cannot accept any other payment methods.

When paying by card or PayPal, BvdZ.com reserves the right to check the validity of the card or PayPal account, that there is enough funds to cover the purchase sum, and validate the billing address details of the purchaser.

BvdZ.com reserves the right to deny any purchase.

The currency used is Euro (€/EUR). VAT is included in all our prices and will be updated on the online store, when you select shipping country.
Please note that all prices and product information on BvdZ.com are subject to change. We cannot provide information about, or guarantee item availability in our stores via the website; some garments that can be seen online are only available, or may be sold out, in select stores. If you are a customer whose card or PayPal account is not denominated in Euros (€), the final transaction amount will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer or PayPal processes the transaction.

Colours

If there are colour differences between the colours shown on the website on your computer and the actual colours of the garments, this may be due to the colour reproduction on your computer.

Confidentiality

BvdZ takes responsibility for all personal details that you submit to us or which we receive from you when you register for purchases. This information is used for signing and implementing the delivery contract and for managing the customer relationship that is set up as a result, including targeted marketing activities organized by BvdZ, collecting outstanding payments, fighting fraud and meeting legal obligations. BvdZ does not pass on any information to a third party.

Force majeure

BvdZ obligations are suspended in cases of force majeure without any obligation to pay the consumer for damages in such cases.

Applicable law

Contracts entered into between BvdZ and a customer, are subject to these terms and conditions and to Dutch law only. BvdZ may modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any moment. You are therefore asked to accept only the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of purchase with each of your orders.

Ownership of rights

All rights, including copyrights at BvdZ online remain with Barbara van der Zanden. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without our permission.
